    The Charles Henderson Trojans football team (Troy, AL), was crushed 60-23 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Benjamin Russell Wildcats (Alexander City, AL)

    With the win, Benjamin Russell advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Helena (Helena, AL) to encounter the Huskies in a 6A Region 3 bout on Friday, October 3. The Huskies go into the match with a record of 1-4. Helena lost 42-7 in their recent non-league match against Oxford (Oxford, AL)

    Coming up next, the Trojans confront the Andalusia Bulldogs (Andalusia, AL) in a 5A Region 2 match, on Friday, October 3. Charles Henderson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 21-7 non-league win over Beauregard (Opelika, AL).
