The Gloucester Fishermen edged the visiting Bishop Fenwick Crusaders football team by a score of 34-33 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Fishermen face the Salem Witches (Salem, MA) in a Northeastern - South test, on Friday, October 3. Gloucester will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Witches come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 20-14 non-league win over Whittier RVT (Haverhill, MA).
With the defeat, Bishop Fenwick drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Archbishop Williams (Braintree, MA) to clash with the Bishops in a Catholic Central test on Saturday, October 4. The Bishops come into the test with a record of 3-0. Archbishop Williams won 20-12 in their recent non-league game against Ashland (Ashland, MA)
