In Friday's non-league game, the Wise Pumas (Upper Marlboro, MD) football team triumphed over the host Bowie Bulldogs (Bowie, MD), by a final score of 50-0.

With the win, Wise advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Pumas travel to DuVal (Lanham, MD) to encounter the Tigers in a Class 4A South contest on Friday, October 3. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-3. DuVal lost 35-13 in their recent league bout against Flowers (Springdale, MD)

The Bulldogs now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Oxon Hill for a non-league bout on Friday, October 3. Bowie will encounter a Clippers team coming off a 32-26 league loss to Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD). The Clippers record now stands at 3-1.
