    Brandon Blackhawks (Ortonville, MI) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Lake Fenton Blue Devils (Linden, MI), 29-28 in a league battle.

    With the win, Brandon improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Blackhawks travel to Clio (Clio, MI) to play the Mustangs in a Flint Metro - Lower battle on Friday, October 3. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 4-1. Clio lost 65-14 in their recent league battle against Goodrich (Goodrich, MI)

    The Blue Devils now hold a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Corunna for a Flint Metro - Lower match on Friday, October 3. Lake Fenton will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 34-14 league loss to Owosso (Owosso, MI). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-5.
