Michigan High School Football - Dowagiac wallops Brandywine

The Dowagiac Chieftains football squad scored 68 points and limited the host Brandywine Bobcats to 0 in the Chieftains league triumph on Friday.

The Chieftains now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Berrien Springs for a Lakeland test on Friday, October 3. Dowagiac will face a Shamrocks team coming off a 16-13 league loss to Buchanan (Buchanan, MI). The Shamrocks record now stands at 3-1.

The Bobcats (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Benton Harbor (Benton Harbor, MI). The Tigers enter the Lakeland challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Benton Harbor was ripped by Oakland Christian (Auburn Hills, MI), 27-20, in a non-league outing.
