California High School Football - South Fork winner over Branson

The South Fork Cubs (Miranda, CA) football knocked off the visiting Branson Bulls (Ross, CA), 40-28 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Cubs now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Round Valley for a North Central III (8 Man) outing on Friday, October 3. South Fork will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 56-28 league loss to Elsie Allen (Santa Rosa, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Branson drops to 1-3 on the year. The Bulls travel to Kairos Public (Vacaville, CA) to battle the Patriots in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 4. The Patriots enter the contest with a record of 1-4. Kairos Public won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Aspire Stockton Secondary Academy (Stockton, CA)
