The Buford Yellow Jackets football team (Lancaster, SC), was crushed 42-0 in Friday's league bout with the host North Central Knights (Kershaw, SC)

With the victory, North Central betters its record to 5-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC) to battle the Golden Rams in a AA Region 4 contest on Friday, October 3. The Golden Rams enter the contest with a record of 3-2. Chesterfield lost 35-14 in their recent non-league bout against McBee (McBee, SC)

The Yellow Jackets now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Central for a AA Region 4 bout on Friday, October 3. Buford will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 34-27 league win over Cheraw (Cheraw, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 5-0.
