Nebraska High School Football - Burwell crushed by Central Valley

Central Valley Cougars (Greeley, NE) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad smash the visiting Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE), 46-0 in a league match.

The Cougars (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Twin Loup (Sargent, NE). The Wolves come into the D2 District 6 (8 Man) match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Twin Loup routed Palmer (Palmer, NE), 61-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Longhorns confront the Anselmo-Merna Coyotes (Merna, NE) in a D2 District 6 (8 Man) match, on Friday, October 3. Burwell will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Coyotes come into the match with a 4-1 record after their 64-16 league win over Chambers/Wheeler Central (Chambers, NE).
