    • Idaho High School Football - Shoshone thwarted by Butte County

    September 26, 2025: Arco, ID 83213

    Butte County Pirates (Arco, ID) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Shoshone Indians (Shoshone, ID), 36-22 in a non-league battle.

    With the win, Butte County improves its record to 1-4 on the season. The Pirates travel to Logos (Moscow, ID) to play the Knights in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 5-1. Logos won 54-12 in their recent league battle against Prairie (Cottonwood, ID)

    The Indians now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Richfield for a 1A Sawtooth (8 Man) match on Friday, October 3. Shoshone will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 48-18 league win over Dietrich (Dietrich, ID). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.
