    • California High School Football - Carlmont can't hold off Sacred Heart Prep

    September 26, 2025: Atherton, CA 94027

    Sacred Heart Prep Gators (Atherton, CA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football squad nudge the visiting Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA), 31-27 in a non-league match.

    The Gators (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA). The Wildcats come into the Peninsula - Bay match with a 2-2 record.

    Coming up next, the Scots confront the Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA) in a Peninsula - De Anza battle, on Friday, October 3. Carlmont will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Spartans go into the battle with a 1-3 record after their 48-10 non-league loss to Menlo School (Atherton, CA).
