    • Idaho High School Football - Council smashes Cascade

    September 26, 2025: Council, ID 83612

    The Council Lumberjacks (Council, ID) football trounced the visiting Cascade Ramblers (Cascade, ID), 70-0 in Friday's league outing.

    The Lumberjacks now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Garden Valley for a 1A Long Pin (8 Man) outing on Friday, October 3. Council will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 64-20 league loss to Tri-Valley (Cambridge, ID). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-1.

    With the defeat, Cascade drops to 1-3 on the year. The Ramblers host Horseshoe Bend (Horseshoe Bend, ID) to face the Mustangs in a 1A Long Pin (8 Man) game on Saturday, October 4. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 1-2. Horseshoe Bend lost 44-0 in their recent non-league game against Rimrock (Bruneau, ID)
