Texas High School Football - Ferris tops Castleberry

September 26, 2025: Fort Worth, TX 76114

The Ferris Yellowjackets football squad scored 48 points and limited the host Castleberry Lions to 36 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Sunnyvale for a 4A-2 Region II District 6 test on Friday, October 10. Ferris will meet a squad coming off a 42-30 non-league loss to Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX). The record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Castleberry moves to 3-2 on the season. The Lions host Kennedale (Kennedale, TX) to face the Wildcats in a 4A-1 Region II District 6 challenge on Friday, October 10. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Kennedale won 48-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Dunbar (Fort Worth, TX)
