The Monroe Dragons overcame the visiting Central Linn Cobras football team by a tally of 30-6 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Dragons face the Waldport Irish (Waldport, OR) in a 2A Special District 3 (9 Man) game, on Friday, October 3. Monroe will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Irish come into the outing with a 0-4 record after their 74-0 non-league loss to Myrtle Point (Myrtle Point, OR).
With the defeat, Central Linn drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Cobras travel to Oakridge (Oakridge, OR) to clash with the Warriors in a 2A Special District 3 (9 Man) outing on Friday, October 3. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 1-3. Oakridge lost 33-12 in their recent league outing against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, OR)
