New Hartford Spartans (New Hartford, NY) boosters left the game content Friday as they observed their football squad crush the visiting Central Valley Academy Thunder (Ilion, NY), 57-6 in a league test.

The Spartans now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Homer for a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. New Hartford will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 32-27 league win over South Jefferson (Adams, NY). The Trojans record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Central Valley Academy drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Thunder host Vernon-Verona-Sherrill (Verona, NY) to meet the Red Devils in a Section 3 B - East test on Thursday, October 2. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 3-1. Vernon-Verona-Sherrill won 42-21 in their recent league challenge against Camden (Camden, NY)
