    • California High School Football - Mission Viejo winner over Chaparral

    The Mission Viejo Diablos (Mission Viejo, CA) football knocked off the host Chaparral Pumas (Temecula, CA), 36-21 in Friday's non-league outing.

    The Diablos now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Long Beach Poly for a non-league contest on Friday, October 3. Mission Viejo will battle a Jackrabbits squad coming off a 21-7 league win over Lakewood (Lakewood, CA). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 3-2.

    Coming up next, the Pumas battle the Vista Murrieta Broncos (Murrieta, CA) in a Big West - Upper contest, on Friday, October 3. Chaparral will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Broncos enter the contest with a 5-0 record after their 38-12 non-league win over El Camino (Oceanside, CA).
