The Christian Community Colts edged the host Jo Byrns Red Devils football team by a score of 23-21 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Colts now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Providence Christian Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, October 3. Christian Community will clash with a LIONS squad coming off a 38-15 non-league win over Franklin County (Winchester, TN). The LIONS record now stands at 4-2.
With the defeat, Jo Byrns drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Red devils host Red Boiling Springs (Red Boiling Springs, TN) to face the Bulldogs in a 1A Region 4 game on Friday, October 3. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 0-6. Red Boiling Springs lost 42-6 in their recent non-league game against Sale Creek (Sale Creek, TN)
