Ohio High School Football - Firelands sneaks past Clearview

The Firelands Falcons football squad scored 9 points and limited the host Clearview Clippers to 7 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Black River for a Lorain County test on Friday, October 3. Firelands will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 22-15 league loss to Keystone (La Grange, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Clearview drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Clippers host Brookside (Sheffield, OH) to meet the Cardinals in a Lorain County challenge on Friday, October 3. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Brookside lost 48-14 in their recent league challenge against Columbia (Columbia Station, OH)
