Texas High School Football - Clemens thwarted by Steele

Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Clemens Buffaloes (Schertz, TX), 48-20 in a league battle.

With the win, Steele upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to East Central (San Antonio, TX) to meet the Hornets in a 6A Region IV District 29 match on Friday, October 3. The Hornets come into the match with a record of 1-4. East Central lost 34-27 in their recent league match against Judson (Converse, TX)

Coming up next, the Buffaloes meet the San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Friday, October 3. Clemens will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Rattlers go into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 40-7 league win over Johnson (Buda, TX).
