South Carolina High School Football - Union County crushed by Clinton

September 26, 2025: Union, SC 29379

Clinton Red Devils (Clinton, SC) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC), 60-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Clinton improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Red Devils host Liberty (Liberty, SC) to play the Red Devils in a AA Region 1 battle on Friday, October 3. The Red Devils go into the battle with a record of 4-2. Liberty lost 34-27 in their recent non-league test against Crescent (Iva, SC)

With the defeat, Union County drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Mountain View Prep (Spartanburg, SC) to meet the Stars in a AAA Region 3 test on Friday, October 3. The Stars come into the test with a record of 5-0. Mountain View Prep won 51-6 in their recent non-league test against Anderson Cavaliers (Anderson, SC)
