Cohasset Skippers (Cohasset, MA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Nauset Regional Warriors (North Eastham, MA), 56-20 in a non-league match.
The Skippers (3-1) will now prepare for their match against North Quincy (North Quincy, MA). The Raiders come into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last test, North Quincy triumphed over Braintree (Braintree, MA), 41-20, in a non-league test.
With the defeat, Nauset Regional falls to 0-4 on the year. The Warriors travel to Nantucket (Nantucket, MA) to face the Whalers in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 10. The Whalers enter the challenge with a record of 3-0.
