The Little Rock Southwest Gryphons football team (Little Rock, AR), was crushed 57-21 in Friday's league bout with the host Conway Wampus Cats (Conway, AR)

With the win, Conway advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Wampus Cats travel to North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR) to encounter the Charging Wildcats in a 7A Central bout on Friday, October 3. The Charging Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-3. North Little Rock lost 45-31 in their recent league bout against Pulaski Academy (Little Rock, AR)

The Gryphons now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cabot for a 7A Central bout on Friday, October 3. Little Rock Southwest will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 56-31 league loss to Little Rock Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.
