Texas High School Football - Gordon smashes Covenant Classical

The Gordon Longhorns (Gordon, TX) football trounced the host Covenant Classical Cavaliers (Fort Worth, TX), 66-20 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Longhorns now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lingleville for a 1A 6 Man 1 Region IV District 13 (6 Man) outing on Thursday, October 9. Gordon will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 64-14 non-league loss to Cranfills Gap (Cranfills Gap, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-5.

The Cavaliers (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Nazarene Christian Academy (Crowley, TX). The Lions enter the TAPPS Six-Man Division II District 1 (6 Man) game with a 2-3 record.
