The Eagle Point Eagles football team (Eagle Point, OR), was crushed 42-0 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Crater Comets (Central Point, OR)

With the win, Crater advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Comets host Churchill (Eugene, OR) to encounter the Lancers in a 5A Special District 4 bout on Friday, October 3. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Churchill won 30-12 in their recent league contest against Springfield (Springfield, OR)

Coming up next, the Eagles battle the South Eugene Axe (Eugene, OR) in a 5A Special District 4 contest, on Friday, October 3. Eagle Point will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Axe go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 38-8 non-league loss to Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR).
