    • Texas High School Football - Shadow Creek can't hold off Dawson

    The Dawson Eagles got by the host Shadow Creek Sharks football team by a score of 30-27 in Friday's league challenge.

    In their next game, the Eagles play the Pearland Oilers (Pearland, TX) in a 6A Region III District 22 challenge, on Friday, October 3. Dawson will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Oilers go into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 66-14 league win over Manvel (Manvel, TX).

    The Sharks (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Dobie (Houston, TX). The Longhorns go into the 6A Region III District 22 challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Dobie nipped Pasadena Memorial (Pasadena, TX), 41-21, in a league challenge.
