The Vikings now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Washington for a 4A District 2 test on Friday, October 3. Decorah-North Winneshiek will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 42-15 league loss to Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Waterloo East drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Mason City (Mason City, IA) to meet the Mohawks in a 4A District 2 test on Friday, October 3. The Mohawks enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Mason City won 31-28 in their recent league challenge against Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA)
