Spectators at Friday's non-league bout between the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels (Reinbeck, IA) and the host Don Bosco Dons (Gilbertville, IA), saw Gladbrook-Reinbeck's football team prevail over Don Bosco by a final score of 42-27.

With the win, Gladbrook-Reinbeck advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Rebels travel to Collins-Maxwell (Maxwell, IA) to battle the in a 8-Man District 6 (8 Man) contest on Friday, October 3. The enter the contest with a record of 4-1. Collins-Maxwell won 55-24 in their recent league contest against GMG (Garwin, IA)

Coming up next, the Dons battle the Turkey Valley Trojans (Jackson Junction, IA) in a 8-Man District 3 (8 Man) bout, on Thursday, October 2. Don Bosco will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 51-0 non-league loss to Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA).
