The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Dunbar Poets (Baltimore, MD) and the host Poly Engineers (Baltimore, MD), witnessed Dunbar's football squad wallop Poly by a count of 50-6.
The Poets (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Clifton (Baltimore, MD). The Lakers go into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Lake Clifton was crushed by Carver Vo-Tech (Baltimore, MD), 28-8, in a non-league battle.
The Engineers now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forest Park for a Class 2A1A South match on Friday, October 3. Poly will confront a Foresters squad coming off a 32-22 non-league win over City College (Baltimore, MD). The Foresters record now stands at 3-1.
