    The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) and the visiting Metter Tigers (Metter, GA), witnessed Emanuel County Institute's football squad knock off Metter by a tally of 34-6.

    The Bulldogs (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Savannah (Savannah, GA). The Bluejackets enter the A D2 Region 3 bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Savannah was topped by Portal (Portal, GA), 21-14, in a league bout.

    The Tigers now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Claxton for a A D2 Region 3 bout on Friday, October 3. Metter will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 42-7 league loss to Bryan County (Pembroke, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-6.
