Connecticut High School Football - Enfield edged by Newington

The Newington Nor'easters edged the host Enfield Eagles football team by a score of 15-13 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Nor'easters clash with the Middletown Blue Dragons (Middletown, CT) in a Central Connecticut - Tier 3 outing, on Friday, October 3. Newington will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Blue Dragons enter the game with a 3-0 record after their 44-6 league win over RHAM (Hebron, CT).

The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their game against New Britain (New Britain, CT). The Golden Hurricanes enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, New Britain was edged by Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT), 24-21, in a non-league game.
