Georgia High School Football - Fannin County beat Gordon Central

September 26, 2025: Calhoun, GA 30701

The Fannin County Rebels football squad scored 42 points and limited the host Gordon Central Warriors to 21 in the Rebels league triumph on Friday.

The Rebels now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chattooga for a A D1 Region 7 outing on Friday, October 3. Fannin County will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 48-21 league loss to Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA). The Indians record now stands at 1-5.

With the defeat, Gordon Central falls to 5-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA) to battle the Lions in a A D1 Region 7 contest on Friday, October 3. The Lions enter the contest with a record of 3-3. Christian Heritage won 49-21 in their recent league contest against Coosa (Rome, GA)
