The River Pilots football squad scored 62 points and limited the visiting Federal Hocking Lancers to 12 in the Pilots non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pilots now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shadyside for a non-league test on Friday, October 3. River will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 30-12 non-league loss to Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 2-4.
The Lancers (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Manchester (Manchester, OH). The Greyhounds go into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Manchester was ripped by Crestline (Crestline, OH), 48-12, in a league challenge.
