The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Fitzgerald Spartans (Warren, MI) and the host Lamphere Rams (Madison Heights, MI), witnessed Fitzgerald's football squad knock off Lamphere by a tally of 21-0.

The Spartans (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Warren Woods-Tower (Warren, MI). The Titans enter the Macomb Area - Gold contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Warren Woods-Tower was toppled by Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI), 52-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Rams battle the Marysville Vikings (Marysville, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 3. Lamphere will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 39-0 non-league win over Lake Shore (St. Clair Shores, MI).
