    • Texas High School Football - Guyer triumphant over Flower Mound

    The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) and the visiting Flower Mound Jaguars (Flower Mound, TX), witnessed Guyer's football squad wallop Flower Mound by a count of 49-7.

    The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Coppell (Coppell, TX). The Cowboys enter the 6A Region I District 5 contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Coppell crushed Hebron (Carrollton, TX), 37-23, in a league contest.

    Coming up next, the Jaguars confront the Little Elm Lobos (Little Elm, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 battle, on Friday, October 3. Flower Mound will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Lobos go into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 28-0 league loss to Braswell (Little Elm, TX).
