Colorado High School Football - Fort Collins sneaks past Fossil Ridge

September 26, 2025: Fort Collins, CO 80525

The Fort Collins Lambkins edged the visiting Fossil Ridge SaberCats football team by a score of 28-21 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Lambkins face the Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 3. Fort Collins will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 32-10 league loss to Legacy (Broomfield, CO).

The SaberCats (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Legacy (Broomfield, CO). The Lightning come into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Legacy edged Horizon (Thornton, CO), 32-10, in a league test.
