In Friday's league match, the visiting Haslett Vikings football squad scored a good 20-12 victory over the Fowlerville Gladiators.
The Vikings (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Williamston (Williamston, MI). The Hornets go into the Capital Area - Red battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Williamston overcame St. Johns (St. Johns, MI), 43-0, in a league battle.
The Gladiators now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Eastern for a Capital Area - Red battle on Friday, October 3. Fowlerville will play a Quakers team coming off a 42-6 league loss to Mason (Mason, MI). The Quakers record now stands at 1-4.
