Indiana High School Football - Mooresville thwarted by Franklin Community

September 26, 2025: Franklin, IN 46131

Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Mooresville Pioneers (Mooresville, IN), 28-17 in a league battle.

With the win, Franklin Community upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Grizzly Cubs travel to Plainfield (Plainfield, IN) to meet the Quakers in a Mid-State test on Friday, October 3. The Quakers come into the test with a record of 5-1. Plainfield lost 37-19 in their recent league test against Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN)

With the defeat, Mooresville drops to 3-3 on the season. The Pioneers host Whiteland (Whiteland, IN) to play the Warriors in a Mid-State challenge on Friday, October 3. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Whiteland won 41-13 in their recent league challenge against Martinsville (Martinsville, IN)
