In Friday's league match, the host Gar-Field Red Wolves football squad scored a decisive 63-0 triumph over the Freedom Eagles.

The Red Wolves (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Charles J. Colgan (Manassas, VA). The Sharks go into the Cardinal battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Charles J. Colgan walloped Broad Run (Ashburn, VA), 41-23, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Forest Park for a Cardinal battle on Friday, October 3. Freedom will play a Bruins team coming off a 45-7 league win over Potomac Senior (Dumfries, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 3-2.
