Ridge Community Bolts (Davenport, FL) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting George Jenkins Eagles (Lakeland, FL), 21-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Ridge Community improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Bolts travel to Auburndale (Auburndale, FL) to play the Bloodhounds in a non-league battle on Friday, October 3. The Bloodhounds come into the test with a record of 3-2. Auburndale lost 37-3 in their recent league test against Jones (Orlando, FL)

With the defeat, George Jenkins drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Winter Haven (Winter Haven, FL) to meet the Blue Devils in a 7A District 6 test on Friday, October 10. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 4-1.
