Pennsylvania High School Football - Woodland Hills prevails Greater Latrobe

September 26, 2025: Pittsburgh, PA 15221

In Friday's league match, the host Woodland Hills Wolverines football squad scored a nice 33-9 win over the Greater Latrobe Wildcats.

In their next game, the Wolverines play the Armstrong River Hawks (Kittanning, PA) in a WPIAL AAAAA Big East challenge, on Friday, October 3. Woodland Hills will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The River Hawks come into the test with a 3-3 record after their 29-28 league win over Gateway (Monroeville, PA).

With the defeat, Greater Latrobe drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA) to meet the Cavaliers in a WPIAL AAAAA Big East test on Friday, October 3. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 1-5. Kiski Area lost 14-7 in their recent league challenge against Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA)
