Alabama High School Football - Greene County wallops Sumter Central

The Greene County Tigers football team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Sumter Central Jaguars to 6 in the Tigers non-league win on Friday.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Aliceville Yellowjackets (Aliceville, AL) in a 2A Region 5 challenge, on Friday, October 3. Greene County will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 34-12 non-league loss to Demopolis (Demopolis, AL).

The Jaguars (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Greensboro (Greensboro, AL). The Raiders go into the 3A Region 3 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Greensboro triumphed over Hatch (Uniontown, AL), 23-0, in a non-league test.
