The Hargrave Military Academy Tigers football team (Chatham, VA), was crushed 47-12 in Friday's league bout with the host Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints (Suffolk, VA)

With the win, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Saints travel to Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league contest on Friday, October 3. The Crusaders enter the contest with a record of 2-2.

Coming up next, the Tigers battle the North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) in a VISAA Blue Ridge contest, on Friday, October 3. Hargrave Military Academy will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 68-6 league win over Blue Ridge (St. George, VA).
