West Sioux Falcons (Hawarden, IA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Hawks (Hartley, IA), 63-14 in a league match.

The Falcons (5-0) will now prepare for their match against South O'Brien (Paullina, IA). The Wolverines come into the A District 1 match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, South O'Brien was routed by Sioux Central (Sioux Rapids, IA), 44-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Hawks meet the Sioux Central Rebels (Sioux Rapids, IA) in a A District 1 match, on Friday, October 3. Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Rebels come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 44-14 league win over South O'Brien (Paullina, IA).
