The Haughton Buccaneers football team (Haughton, LA), dropped 42-28 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Huntington Raiders (Shreveport, LA)

The Raiders (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Evangel Christian Academy thwarted Airline (Bossier City, LA), 51-49, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Buccaneers confront the Natchitoches Central Chiefs (Natchitoches, LA) in a 5A District 1 bout, on Friday, October 3. Haughton will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 69-40 league loss to Parkway (Bossier City, LA).
