    The Highland Bulldogs football team (Highland, IL), dropped 42-22 in Friday's league bout with the host Triad Knights (Troy, IL)

    With the win, Triad advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Mascoutah (Mascoutah, IL) to battle the Indians in a Mississippi Valley contest on Friday, October 3. The Indians enter the contest with a record of 3-2. Mascoutah won 35-16 in their recent league contest against Jersey (Jerseyville, IL)

    Coming up next, the Bulldogs battle the Civic Memorial Eagles (Bethalto, IL) in a Mississippi Valley contest, on Friday, October 3. Highland will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 49-20 league loss to Waterloo (Waterloo, IL).
