Kansas High School Football - Rawlins County overwhelmed by Hill City

September 26, 2025: Atwood, KS 67730

The Rawlins County Buffaloes football team (Atwood, KS), was crushed 58-20 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Hill City Ringnecks (Hill City, KS)

With the win, Hill City advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Ringnecks travel to St. Francis (St. Francis, KS) to encounter the Indians in a Northwest Kansas (8 Man) contest on Friday, October 3. The Indians enter the contest with a record of 3-1. St. Francis lost 38-28 in their recent league contest against Decatur Community (Oberlin, KS)

Coming up next, the Buffaloes encounter the Stockton Tigers (Stockton, KS) in a Northern Plains (8 Man) bout, on Friday, October 3. Rawlins County will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 60-14 league loss to Hoxie (Hoxie, KS).
