The Hillcrest Panthers (Dallas, TX) football tipped the visiting Spruce Timberwolves (Dallas, TX), 14-12 in Friday's league outing.

The Panthers now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Oak Cliff for a 5A-2 Region II District 5 contest on Friday, October 3. Hillcrest will battle a Bears squad coming off a 44-0 league win over Adamson (Dallas, TX). The Bears record now stands at 4-1.

Coming up next, the Timberwolves battle the Seagoville Dragons (Dallas, TX) in a 5A-2 Region II District 5 contest, on Friday, October 3. Spruce will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Dragons enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 41-38 league win over Samuell (Dallas, TX).
