New Jersey High School Football - Holy Cross can't hold off Riverside

September 26, 2025: Delran, NJ 08075

Riverside Rams (Riverside, NJ) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team hold off the host Holy Cross Lancers (Delran, NJ), 28-21 in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams face the Bishop Eustace Prep Crusaders (Pennsauken, NJ) in a non-league test, on Friday, October 3. Riverside will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Crusaders come into the test with a 4-0 record after their 28-13 league win over Buena (Buena, NJ).

With the defeat, Holy Cross drops to 4-1 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Princeton (Princeton, NJ) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, October 3. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 4-1. Princeton won 14-0 in their recent league game against Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NJ)
