South Dakota High School Football - Huron sneaks past Spearfish

September 26, 2025: Huron, SD 57350

The Huron Tigers football squad scored 27 points and limited the visiting Spearfish Spartans to 25 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD) in a Eastern South Dakota challenge, on Friday, October 3. Huron will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 48-0 league loss to Watertown (Watertown, SD).

The Spartans (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Watertown (Watertown, SD). The Arrows come into the Eastern South Dakota test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Watertown edged Douglas (Box Elder, SD), 48-0, in a league test.
