J.F. Webb Warriors (Oxford, NC) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC), 34-20 in a non-league battle.

With the win, J.F. Webb upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host Carrboro (Carrboro, NC) to confront the Jaguars in a Big Seven 4A/5A match on Friday, October 3. The Jaguars come into the match with a record of 0-5. Carrboro lost 41-0 in their recent non-league match against Louisburg (Louisburg, NC)

Coming up next, the Vikings confront the KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC) in a Roanoke River 1A/2A match, on Friday, October 3. Northwest Halifax will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Pride go into the battle with a 5-0 record after their 50-3 non-league win over Howard (Wilson, NC).
