Texas High School Football - Joshua nudges Midlothian

In Friday's league match, the visiting Joshua Owls football squad scored a close 27-21 triumph over the Midlothian Panthers.

The Owls (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Tyler (Tyler, TX). The Lions come into the 5A-1 Region II District 7 match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Tyler was nudged by Highland Park (Dallas, TX), 70-66, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Panthers confront the Cleburne Yellowjackets (Cleburne, TX) in a 5A-1 Region II District 7 match, on Friday, October 3. Midlothian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 16-14 league loss to Centennial (Burleson, TX).
